Today I talk about the trip I made since 2010 within
WordPress
It all started with one fix
I got my first prop on May 25th 2010 for ticket 14869.
WordPress 3.4
The game changer
WordPress 3.4• Started doing focused team
• I joined adding new methods to the XML-RPC
• Worked with Peter Westwood and Max Cutler
• Things like support for CPTs and featured image
• Started adding unit tests
• In total 32 props/commits for this release
Recent rockstar
WordPress 3.5
My best contribution
Started in SF
The road to success• Worked together with Mike Schroder
• All the coding happened on Github
• In the end we got great help from Kurt Payne with creating unit tests
• And obviously getting some great feedback from the WordPress community
• Code got committed on October 1

GlotPress• After WordPress 3.5 I switched my focus a bit
• I ended up looking at GlotPress and wanted to help out there
• Lead of the project for more then 2 years
• 233 commits (with a few props)
• Disagreements let me stop with it
• 20+ contributors because of my work
