• Released in 1998 and directed by Jonas Åkerlund.
• Within the video there are images of sex, drugs and violence filled night outs. It is filmed from a first person perspective.
• This video was a shocker when it was first released.

• Sigur Ros- Vidrar Vel Til Loftarasa
• Arni and Kinski directed this 1999 music video that is iconic for featuring two young boys kissing at the end of a football match in the 1950’s.

• Beastie Boys- Sabotage
• Spike Jonze directed the music video that gave a nod to Hawaii Five-O, S.W.A.T and Starsky and Hutch. In the 1994 video the band put on their aviators and make their own comic promo.

• Weezer-Buddy Holly
• Spike Jonze is back again with his second video in the top 10.
• His 1994 video contained some ground breaking editing to create a result that wowed audiences worldwide.

• Foo Fighters- Everlong
• Michel Gondry makes his first appearance in our top 10.
• This is said to be one of Gondry’s and the Foo’s finest moments. The video was full of cross-dressing, monsters and metamorphoses and this gives a devastating effect.
Half way through. 5. • Bjork- All Is Full Of Love
• Director Chris Cunningham won countless awards for this video and it is even on permanent display at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
• The best bit is said to be the wide angle shot containing the first cyborg kiss just as the chorus begins.

• Soundgarden- Black Hole Sun
• Howard Greenhalgh created this 1994 classic WTF!? video.
• The best bit is when the happy, American family are dragged skywards into the black hole sun.

• Chris Isaak- Wicked Game
• Released in 1989 and directed by Herb Ritts this music video is gently provocative and has nudity and a subtle sexual feel but it is presented in a classy way.

• Radiohead- Just
• Just missing out and the top spot Jamie Thraves’ 1995 music video is iconic. We all want to now why there is a man laying in the middle of the road!
• This is easily Radiohead at their best.
The winner.• Johnny Cash- Hurt
• Mark Romanek is the genius behind our most iconic music video.
• Released in 2002 there is a montage of shots containing Cash and these served a poignant purpose. Cash died seven month later and these images became even more powerful.
