On paper, you can draw the cupcakes and then draw 4 boxes. Place the cakes equally into 4 boxes.

Thursday maths.

To help you, you can draw 4 cakes on paper. Then, count the cherries and draw them onto the cakes equally.

Did you get 5 cherries on 4 cakes too?

Did you know, you could also put 4 cherries on 5 cakes and still get 20 cherries altogether? (This is called commutative law). 4x5 is the same as 5x4!

Can you first write the multiplication, then the inverse (division).
