Agenda• Art 7 - Let’s finish grading everything from last

week. Several of you still have to show me your coloring book pages and even more of you still have to do your online discussions. If you’re done with both of these things, work on your shoe/observational drawing from last week and a google doodle for the contest. (remember the theme is What The Future Looks Like). We’re going to finish grading before moving forward again.

Agenda• Clay & Sculpture - I am going to demo on a pottery wheel

and show you the absolute basics. This takes a LOT of practice and I don’t expect anybody to be great at it starting out. The re-glazed pottery is firing in the kiln and will likely take a while. The secondary kiln is currently out of commission otherwise I would start a second load simultaneously. Options for today, rebuild coil pots & pinch pots if they didn’t make it so we can adjust grades. Glaze/re-glaze items that have been fired. Work on upcoming “gnome sculpture” and practicing on the wheels.

• Clean up time is important today… we need to step this up a notch or two

• 2D/3D - We’re getting the clay out today. The first exercise is to sculpt your favorite animal. We’re also continuing grading.

Agenda• Drawing/Painting - We’re going to continue

grading. Make sure you complete your online discussion because another one is coming up soon. If you want to re-work any of your previous stuff today is a good day for it. We’re going to begin another drawing exercise tomorrow so let’s make sure we have everything in so far.

• Randomized Word Drawings will be graded at the end of the week so don’t sleep on that.

• Intro To Art - Exercises from last week… everybody make sure you’re all caught up. Then we’re moving on to the next element of art…“Form” this will involve clay.
