Mobile Marketing Companies

Based on an overwhelming amount of market research and talking with many marketing industry top-guns,

text message marketing for chiropractors is going to be the next

big thing in 2010 and beyond!

Chiropractic marketing has shifted so much in the last few years and there's about to be another major swing towards mobile marketing.

Mobile marketing, according to Wikipedia, is a set of practices that

enables organizations to communicate and engage with their

audience in an interactive and relevant manner through any mobile

device or network.

Text messaging, synonymously referred to as SMS (short message service), has taken-off in massive

proportions here in the United States in the past few years.

Roughly 3.5 billion text messages are sent and received daily!

To put it in perspective, that trumps the number of cellphone calls made

and is a threefold leap from a few years back.

On a related note, the biggest increase occurred in people 30 years

and older!

For the moment, only some of the most powerful people and

organizations in the world have been using this hot mobile

marketing medium.

President Obama and his campaign team incorporated text message

marketing to rake-in big donations quickly.

You'll find pro athletic teams using mobile marketing to sell tickets and high-end businesses using it to keep

in touch with customers.

That is going to change soon, though, as text message marketing for chiropractors and other small businesses is fast approaching.

Contrary to what some think, I'm not referring to spamming anyone via text like the junk the average

person sees in their inbox.

Random marketing like that is illegal and not really as targeted so I don't

recommend it.

These potential customers will either have opted into your list or have signed up for a service that provides them periodic deals and

local perks.

The great thing is that text message open rates are far greater than

email.

It's estimated that around 85% of people open a text message within

15 minutes after receiving it!

This eventually leads to around a 94% open rate when everything is

said and done.

Yes, you read that correctly! To put it in perspective, a good email open rate to a list that likes you is only

around 18-20% if you can believe it.

So, especially in the new year, you'll want to definitely investigate the use of text message marketing for

chiropractors for your local practice.

Some doctors are already using it to reactivate patients and send

reminder appointments and not surprisingly their numbers are way

up!
