THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

24th December

• Let's start on 24th December, Christmas Eve, the day we spent the night together, the family had dinner, then we eat shortbread, we sing typical Spanish carols for example fish in the river, night of peace, bell over bell.

• That night the baby Jesus is born.• The next day, December 25th, we eat all

together again, the Spanish meals are abundant, and we eat a lot.

31th December and 6th of January

• On New Year Eve, 31th December, is the last day of the year, In Spain the typical custom is to eat twelve grapes the last seconds of the year, say they do that gives luck in the year.

• The 6th of January is the last days of Christmas, the three magic kings come here with presents for all. Every children are very happy.
