The stomata is a small pore in plants that functions as a gas carrier. Carbon dioxide enters through small pores and oxygen exits from them. Stomata also functions as a water transpirant so when the plant has to much water it releases it.

Trichomes grows on the epidermal layer of plants. The presence of trichomes increases the plant roughness, and they also discharge secretions on the leaf surface.
