Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) programme

Master of Science (M.Sc.) programmes

Admission Requirements:

• A good bachelor's degree with a minimum 2nd Class Honours (Upper) or Honours (Distinction) or equivalent.

• A good GRE score is required for international applicants.

• TOEFL /IELTS score is required for graduates from universities with non-English medium of instruction.

M.Eng. PROGRAMME @ EEEGRE requirement (Test date must be within 5 years or less from the date of application):

Minimum GRE Verbal Reasoning (V) and Quantitative Reasoning (Q) scores must be at least 149 for each category with a total GRE scores (V + Q) equivalent to or more than 319. In addition, GRE Analytical writing score (AW) must be at least 3.5.

IELTS and TOEFL requirements (Test dates must be within 2 years or less from the date of application)

Minimum TOEFL score must be at least :600 for paper-based test250 for computer-based test100 for internet-based test

Minimum IELTS score must be at least 6.5.

• Pursue an independent and supervised research in an approved topic

• Complete 3 courses or 9 AU equivalent with CGPA of 3 on a scale of 5

• MEng Confirmation Exercise

• Compulsory short courses such as Information Literacy Programme –Information Research and Management for Postgraduate Research Students Seminar and Research Integrity Course

Service Obligation

• International students who choose to pay a lower tuition fee (and thus receive higher subsidy) will have to take up a 3-year service obligation. As part of the service obligation, the international student is required to work in Singapore-based companies upon graduation.

• Singapore-based companies refer to local companies and international companies that have a base in Singapore which is registered with the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
