Anewflaghasalwaysbeenissuedonfirst4thofJulyafteranewstatehasbeenadmittedintotheUnionoftheUnitedStatesofAmerica.Ourlastflagwascreatedwhenanewstarwasaddedin1960torepresentHawaiienteringtheunion.
