EIGE’s elaboration

from FRA, 2012

Data on femicide is published for only 13 EU MS.

For 70% of victims of physical or sexual violence,

violence leads to health consequences

Almost 1 victim in two in the EU has not disclosed

her experience to anyone

A woman is killed everyday by a partner or former

partner

Women are not leading violence-free lives but lives marked by silence.

Let’s change this
