Fruit based dessert: ‘fruit fool with raspberries and passion fruit

The nutritional values for this dessert is perfect for my meal card as they have a healthy quantity of energy ,fat, saturated fat and salt.

DevelopmentsUnfortunately I was unable to fit all my text onto the back of the meal card therefore I will have to make some changes to the layout.

I made many changes which are now shown on the right. The changes allowed me to fit all the information I needed on the two sides of the A5 paper

DevelopmentsHowever when I showed my test buddy the meal card she thought that it was rather boring and suggested that I make it look more appealing to the eye and use the same colours in which I have been using throughout the whole project.

Front Back

As you can see I have changed the background colour to grey as that is part of my colour scheme and I have also changed the colour of my text and boxes to orange as it is too part of my colour scheme and I believe that it looks more appealing to the eye.

Further developmentsI was extremely happy with my new meal card however when I came to look back over it I thought that it still needed some improvements to make it look appealing. Therefore I have made some changes as you can see below.

As you can see I have changed the positions and shape of the images and I have also made the title of each meal more visible. I then made original images using paint(the fishes and raspberries, I chose to do these images as they are one of the main ingredients in each of the meals ). I have also added the phrase at the bottom of the publication as Waitrose say that we are only able to use the information, if that phrase is used

Target audienceThen just to make sure that it would appeal to my target audience. I asked 20 teenagers whether or not they would be encouraged to try the recipes and they all said yes , however they said that I should make it more descriptive. Therefore I am going to add a persuasive description of the food.
