Welcome to the May issue of The Dell Directory This is the time of the year for a nice Spring Clean, take a look throught the magazine we have lots of advertisers to help with keeping the garden tidy, cleaning, decorating, roof repairs, building extensions, plumbing, gas services, computer repairs/advice and much more. In this months issue, please take a moment to read an article about the history of The Union Canal, written by Bob Bell from the Local History Society (pg13). By the time this magazine drops through your door there are quite a few local events happening in the area. There are several local schools fairs and the regular handcrafted goods sale which is on the first Saturday of every month, here in Colinton! More information on these events are on the What’s On pages, please support them if you can. Congratulations to Ms Margaret Granger, Bonaly Brae who was the winner of the April 2012 crossword, well done!
