Dear Parents,
I hope you all are in good health and cheer. Between
my last message and this one a lot has happened in this
school. I hope you have been keeping pace with the
development through our school portal. We had a very
successful annual day program spanning over 3 days. I
am sure all of you must have witnessed one or the
other part of this extravaganza. In many ways the
annual functions are a statement about the caliber and
work of the school. I am sure after witnessing the
functions you must be convinced that your child is in
the best school of Ahmedabad.
There are some things which I am still concerned
about. Firstly, I find that the school attendance of your
ward is taken casually by some of you. I know we live in
a country which has lot of festivals and social events
but I am also aware that regularity in school is very
important for the overall growth of your child. In this
regards I would like to point out what damage can be
done when a child misses even a single day. The
teachers move ahead with the syllabus and a very
important concept missed during the absence of your

child would weaken his knowledge and understanding of the entire
chapter.
I can’t even imagine the damage that can be caused in case a child
misses school for five or six days. I
am sad to say that not only do the children miss school but they
find a lot of support from their
parents regarding it. Please help us in our effort to make sure
that the child comes to school regularly.
I am also concerned about some parents constantly take offense when
we initiate a disciplinary action
against a child or a group of children. Let me assure you that the
school and the teachers are the best
friends of your child. Any action taken against him/her is in the
best interest of the child. It may
appear a bit painful but so does a bitter pill or an injection
given by the doctor is not something that a
patient likes. But it certainly does well and brings the patient
back to normal or health level. I request
you to please consider us as good doctors who are interested in the
well being of your child.
You are aware that we are technologically driven school, I would
request all of you to please get on to
our school portal for all updates and accessing information about
your child and the school. We are a
green school which does not encourage the unnecessary use of paper
and besides technology is the
future of the world. Please get familiar with it and use our school
portal frequently. I wish you all the
very best and I am sure your children will do well as we come to
the close of this academic session.
