From Ancient Greek Theatre to
Balinese ceremonies, masks have
been worn for performance,
entertainment, disguise, concealment,
or protection. We wear masks in our
every day lives and through our
personas we present different faces to
the world. What goes on inside us
behind the faces we present? Is there
something precious and discarded
sitting dormant within? This workshop
will use eastern and western tools to
explore our hidden selves as we use
our hands to create a mask for
ourselves.

Opening your crea.vity through Movement and Mask
Uncover hidden percepXons, new ideas, images and impulses as you are taken through a series of holisXc expressive arts processes designed to connect you to your creaXve core and source of inspiraXon.
Movement and mask work helps to access parts of ourselves that are unconscious and/or unknown to us. ConnecXng deeply to our bodies, breath and to others in playful movement and mask exercises creates the space for new ideas, images and impulses that can nurture and enhance a fresh approach to self awareness and life.
Movement with mask work is a non-‐judgmental, holisXc , honest and open way to access ourselves and our creaXve core. It can bring us into dialogue with a different aspect ourselves helping us to relate to our work, planning and acXviXes in a different way.
“ALWAYS GUARDING ONE'S REAL, PRECIOUS SELF IN A COCOON OF TRANQUILITY WITHIN A THOUSAND MASKS. LIFE ITSELF HAD BECOME A SECRET AFFAIR.” ― Mary Balogh.

Don Riso has defined the Enneagram as "a geometric figure that delineates the nine basic personality types of human nature and their complex interrelationships." While the Enneagram suggests that there are nine basic personality types of human nature, there are, of course, many subtypes and variations within the nine fundamental categories. Nevertheless, the assertion of Enneagram theory is that these nine adequately map out the territory of "personality types."
