Mary Kay Krell was born and raised in Ann Arbor (Michigan) in a musical family. Interest in art came at a very young age. Studied painting at the School of Architecture and Design and the University of Michigan. Serious passion for painting and began painting with watercolors since moving to Minnesota in 1985. In 1998 began experimenting with oil painting. Mary loves to paint garden scenes, still lifes of flowers and any other botanical objects.
