Term 4, Week 9 9th December, 2011
Principal’s Message What a fantastic year at Maraylya PS! While it feels like it has flown, so much has occurred both inside and outside the rooms. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the school community for your help in making this year so successful for the students of Maraylya Public School. Presentation Night Our recent presentation night highlighted the amazing achievement of the boys and girls throughout 2011. Congratulations to all those who were recognised during the night with one or perhaps more of those wonderful awards. Our thanks go to Windsor High School for allowing us to use their hall at such short notice and to Mrs Cam for joining us on the night. Movie Night Our Maraylya Movie Night was a great success. The screen was huge! While the movie was long, we had a brilliant time, being very fortunate with the weather. Thanks especially to our P&C group and their families for their time and energy to ensure the night ran smoothly and that we were all fed and watered. Thanks also to Mrs Bennett and Mrs Sadler for running stalls and conducting the choir.

Year 6 Farewell
What a fantastic evening at Pitt Town Sporting Club last Tuesday! Our students arrived looking wonderful and the entire evening was a great success. Students were so well behaved throughout the proceedings, allowing them to have a really fun night – lots of dancing (parents and teachers too!) and a lovely meal in a beautifully decorated room, thanks to some of our Year 6 mums. Apart from our school staff, we also saw Mr McGee on the night and Mrs Buchanan wrote a wonderful poem about the Year 6 students which all helped to make the night so special. Well done kids! It was a pleasure to spend that special time with you.
Happy Birthday to….
