HolidayrequestsThistimeoftheyearwearereceivingmanyrequestsforholidays.Wewillnotbeauthorisinganyholidayrequeststhataresubmitted.Itisgovernmentguidanceandschoolpolicytoensurethatallchildrenhaveagoodlevelofattendancethroughouttheschoolyear.Iftheyarenotinschoolthiscanimpactprogressandlearningresultinginthechildrenfallingbehindtheirpeersacademically.

DogsWehavehadrecentreportsofdogsonsite,oraroundtheschoolgates.Ifyouarewalkingadogtoschoolwithyourchildren,pleasebeawarethattheyarenotallowedonsite.Thisisintheinterestofhealthandsafetyofthechildrenandensuringthatwearepreventinganypotentialaccidentorinjuries.Weappreciatethatthedogsmightbepleasantandwellbehaved,butduetotheirunpredictability,theymustremainoffsite.Ifyouhaverelativesorfriendsbringingyourchildreninwhomightnotgetthenewslettertoseethismessage,canyoupleasepassthisontoensurethattheyarealsoawareofthis.

TrustVisitThisweekwehostedmembersoftheLATforavisitaroundtheschool.Theywerelookingatarangeofdifferentthingssuchasthelearningenvironment,behaviour,thebuildingaswellasgettingabetterunderstandingoftheteachingandlearningmethodsthatwearenowusinginschool.Thefeedbackwasexceptionallypositivefromthis,andthebehaviourofthechildrenwasexemplary.Thechildrenreallyshowcasedtheexcellentlearningthattheyhavebeendoing,showedexemplarybehaviouranddidagreatjobshowingofftheschool.Welldonetoallchildrenandstaffthatwereinvolvedinthis,andwearelookingforwardtobuildingonthesuccessesthatwehavehadoverthepastfewtermsintheSpringandSummertermthisyear.
