2013 was a record year for international tourist arrivals to the Balearics (up 7.2% on 2012), coinciding nicely with incredible success for Mallorca’s real estate sector. Demand has reached new highs and there have never been so many sales at the premium end of the market.

According to research gathered from owners and estate agents, in Port Andratx alone 16 villas priced over five million euros changed hands in 2013, the highest valued at 18 million. In the southwest no less than 25 five million euro plus villas were sold, 30 in Mallorca as a whole. There will certainly have been other unrecorded sales. These record-breaking figures support our strategy to concentrate exclusively on the high-end – villas priced over two million euros and apartments over one million.

Following regeneration of the town centre and popular urban areas such as Calatrava and La Lonja, it became clear that Palma should be a focus for our attention. Our new 288 m² HQ opened at the start of 2014, centrally situated off Avenida Jaime III, the City’s most famous shopping street.

From this strategic location our expert team will serve Palma’s centre and suburbs, as well as central, north, northeastern and southeastern parts of the Island. The southwest between Palma and Port Andratx, including areas such as Puerto Portals and Santa Ponsa, will continue to be looked after by our Port Andratx office.

Das Rekordjahr 2013 war für den internationalen Tourismus der Balearen (plus 7,2% zu 2012) wie auch für die Immobilienbranche Mallorcas unglaublich erfolgreich. Die Insel ist bei Immobilien-Anlegern gefragter denn je. Nie zuvor wurden so viele Anwesen im Premium-Segment von mehr als fünf Millionen Euro innerhalb eines Jahres verkauft.

Allein in Port Andratx lag das jährliche Transaktionsvolumen bei mehr als 150 Millionen Euro. Laut Eigentümern und Beratern wurden hier 16 Villen im Preissegment über fünf Millionen Euro erfolgreich vermarktet, wobei der maximale Einzelerlös bei 18 Millionen Euro lag. Allein 25 der insgesamt 30 verkauften Anwesen in dieser Preislage befinden sich im Südwesten der Insel. Vermutlich gab es noch weitere Transaktionen. Diese rekordverdächtigen Zahlen bestätigen unsere Strategie, sich aus-schließlich auf Premium-Villen mit einem Mindestwert von zwei Millionen Euro sowie auf Apartments ab einer Million Euro zu konzentrieren.

Nach gelungener Sanierung der Innenstadt und angesagter Stadtviertel wie Calatrava und La Lonja stand für uns fest, hier Präsenz zeigen zu wollen.
