Main activities

• WP3.a: Repeated GPS

WP3.b: Continuous GPS

• WP3.c: Systematic interferometry analysis of incoming SAR images

• WP3.d : Modelling

Summary of geodetic activities (1)

Permanent GPS stations renewed

Re-observation of 60 GPS points in a 50km radius around Patras

Installation of two GPS stations at UPAT (1 with real-time)

Kinematic GPS in the Panagopoula landslide

PS-InSAR studies

Real-time GPS data broadcasted from TRIZ

Kinematic GPS levelling

Summary of geodetic activities (2)

ERS SAR data acquired in 3 different frame was processed with conventional InSAR and with PS techniques

Deliverables

• 8: Data base for continuous GPS √• 42: Deformation of the rift from GPS √• 43: Two new continuous GPS stations √• 44: Set of stable pixels for InSAR long term stability √• 45: Elastic models of the observed deformations √• 86: Evaluation of a daily kinematic GPS system on

commercial railway traffic on road and landslide only• 94: Modem for the new GPS stations √• 105: Web page updated with selection of continuous

records and selected events from the GPS arrays √

D8: Data base for continuous GPS

Raw data andtime series of coordinates

available on line

D42: Deformation of the rift from GPS

A data base of GPS points was created to contain both the description of the points and the coordinates at all epochs of observations

D43: New stations

- 2 new stations at Patras (one standard, one with real-time differential

- 5 “old” stations renewed with new receivers

Location of the CRL GPS stations and view of the LIDO station

D44: Set of stable pixels• Conventional InSAR used ROI-PAC

software• PS-Insar studies used ROI-PAC post-

processing and new algorithms developed at NOA

Aigion area

Itea area

Map of Permanent scatterers (colours indicate quality of PS, low=green, high=red)

D45: Elastics models of the observed deformation

D86: Kinematic GPS

• 18 points accurately positioned in the Panagopoula landslide. Kinematic profile available for further studies and airphoto registration

• More kinematic GPS levelling performed by car

D94: Modem for the new GPS stations

The two new GPS stations and TRIZ are accessible remotely via internet.

- TRIZ broadcasts real-time data- PAT1 receivers real-time data and provides real-time differential coordinates

Trizonia GPS receiver and web interface

D105: Web site for Geodesy in the CRL
