10 Things LTLS Staff is Thankful For!!!!!

During the the Thanksgiving season here are 10 things

that LTLS Staff is

thankful for.

That the LTLS Board of Directors is willing to take personal time to dedicate to collaborative library service.

That the people we work with are wonderful dedicated professionals who are neither turkeys nor bullies.

That the variety of materials we get to catalog, from the difficult to the easy, keeps us from developing Alzheimers.

That the LTLS Libraries pay their bills promptly unlike other agencies.

That we work with 121 agencies, 281 libraries and more than 1100 staff members who are dedicated to library service.

That the users of libraries are enthusiastic and appreciative of library services.

That the vendors keep us on our “toes” by constantly changing names and product offerings.

That we are not stuck on Tutorial Island in Second Life with our 20-something colleague.

That LTLS has not 1, not 2 but three T-1’s to access Information Resources.

That we work in a profession that values intellectual freedom.
