Error File vs. Review File

• Select Error File for almost all reports– Error file is dumped by Systems personnel

• Review file is used on rare occasions.– Every record must be manually reviewed– Every record must be individually selected for

approve, delete or review– Other report(s) must be run to remove records

from review: 1) add them to the catalog or 2) delete them

Save Template or Schedule Report

• If this template is something you’ll be using again, save the template.

• If this template is a one-time bibload, schedule the report.

Steps to Bring in Bibliographic Records

• Use MARC Import to put the file on the SIRSI server

• Use the appropriate bibload template already set up

• Modify the template to get the file from the server

• Schedule the bibload report. • Use the Finished Report Wizard to locate

your report.
