HOWHOW

• INCREASE your personal worth• DEAL with pressing life stage issues

We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery.”

H. G. Wells (1866 - 1946)

You Are Not Your Thoughts

How many times have your said to yourself “today sure went by

fast”. It seems that our lives are so complex and so full of things to

do that we forget to feel the moments that together make up a

day. Moments are lost amid the clutter of everyday and they become

blurred by the activities we invent. It seems like activity is

more important than the moments in which they occur.

“Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to

recognize it as such.” Henry Miller (1891 - 1980)

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to

improve the world.” Anne Frank, Diary of a Young

Girl, 1952

In seizing the moments of your life you extend their value and allow

each (MOMENT) to create magic. You see each (MOMENT) as a

miracle and know that within them lies the importance of life. Life is

not full of quantity time but full of quality time. It is up to each of us to recognize the quality within

each moment and to allow it to shine throughout our day. This alone will begin to change our world.

“Seize the moment of excited curiosity on any subject to

solve your doubts; for if you let it pass, the desire may never

return, and you may remain in ignorance.” William Wirt

‘In the name of God, stop a moment, cease your work, look

around you.” Leo Tolstoy (1828 - 1910)

“Man is free at the moment he wishes to be.”

Voltaire (1694 - 1778)

Love & Respect

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my boyfriend"). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

Respect denotes both a positive feeling of esteem for a person or other entity (such as a nation or a religion), and also specific actions and conduct representative of that esteem. Respect can be a specific feeling of regard for the actual qualities of the one respected (e.g., "I have great respect for her judgment"). It can also be conduct in accord with a specific ethic of respect.

FEAR

• “Video on Synthetic Happiness”• when we learn to accept things as they are we

find happiness. When we cease to strive for happiness in the future we find it in this moment. Getting what we want doesn't make us happy, being happy with what we have does. Craving causes misery, acceptance and peace makes us happy.

“Fear is faith that it won't work out.”

“Fear is the lengthened shadow of ignorance.”

“Fear has a large shadow, but he himself is small.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

FearKrishnamurthy

“Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.”

“The one permanent emotion of the inferior man is fear - fear of the unknown, the complex, the inexplicable. What he wants above everything else is safety. ”

Henry Louis Mencken

“There is a time to take counsel of your fears, and there is a time to never listen to any fear.”

George S. Patton

“Fear is not our enemy. Fear may be good if understood.”
