First Day of Class

Dr. Benjamin Russell is pictured aboveteaching Audiology in Leon Levine Hall on thefirst day of class. Dr. Russell, ClinicalAssociate Professor in the Department ofCommunication Sciences and Disorders,spoke about the benefits of having his clinicand classroom in the same location, "Theopening of Leon Levine Hall gives our collegea cohesive presence and allowsinterdisciplinary collaboration to occur moreeasily and more naturally."

A Fitting Tribute

Gene “Buddy” Thomas ‘06 wanted to honorhis uncle Andy and his love of AppalachianState University. After discussions with hisfamily, Will Sears, Director of Development forthe Walker College of Business and JennyWard, Director of Development for the BeaverCollege of Health Sciences, the Thomasfamily decided to dedicate a room in AndyThomas’ memory. Since he was a Health CareManagement major and loved all Boone has tooffer, the family decided on a room with a viewin the Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences.
