(SPAN) is a human rights organization committed to ending
violence against adults, youth and children through support,
advocacy, education and community organizing. SPAN serves
all genders and ages by providing crisis intervention and on-
going support Services to people dealing with issues either
directly or indirectly stemming from intimate partner violence. Legal Advocacy: The SPAN Legal Advocacy Program provides
victims with assistance, support and information about criminal,
civil and immigration legal processes. They help victims
navigate the justice system by accompanying them to court,
providing clinics for immigration and civil issues and assisting
victims with obtaining Civil Protection Orders. Court Advocates
are available at the Boulder County Justice Center and the

provide legal advice or representation. Advocates will attend
court proceedings with victims for support and will advocate on
their behalf during interactions within the judicial system.
Advocates also connect victims with community resources and
