Overview :Book store named Read, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, largest and most important Airport in Taiwan. Terminal 2. Designed with one other designer (the other one designer is main lead ), I charged the bamboo-slips shop sign, cube display boxes/chairs, bamboo-slips display, counter and some detail drawing. Inscribed bamboo-slips are the most ancient of books in China and they carry great significance in Chinese culture and Chinese literature. So, our client chose China inscribed bamboo-slips as the book store ceiling and shop's image and also incorporated Chinese calligraphy into this space.
NO.01This work project was in 2010.
It was my first interior design projrct in work.2 designer group project.
Project: ReadA Book Store
The displays image includes Chinese ink sticks and blocks. Being different from your average book store display, I wanted the displays to be easily changeable blocks all 50cm*50cm, they can connect with each other and are not fixed, bookstore workers can stack and array them when they need to do so. Furthermore, these displays not only show books but can also be used as chairs, I designed the chair cushions so if the book store thought they needed, they can put chair cushions on the top of the display blocks.

Overview :This project was in Hanshin department store, a very popular department store in Taiwan. I was responsible for this case and worked with manager and vice president.I was in charge those following public space, two seating areas for food coourt, elevator halls, empty space and lavatories. Which is in the basement, which generally means no sun and nature, I tried adding natural elements into the design. I thought of the sun and observed it, seeing how light produced and accompanied shadow. So, if I wanted to introduce elements of nature, did not need to directly plant plants in this room. Instead use of space designed to create the illusion of light and shadow effects. P.S. This is case 1,and the client didn’t use this design, they used case 2.
NO.02
Case 1 Sunshine, shadow, nature. This work project was in 2011.
I was in charge many public spaces.
Making people feel closer to nature in the presence of light and shadow as in an outdoor living space. So, I designed lights to simulate sunlight through to the windows.
In nature, trees are very important, so I chose the shadows of the trees, in the space. I used artificial light, on wooden shapes to produce shadow. Making people feel closer to nature in the presence of light and shadow as in an outdoor living space.

Different sizes of rectangular objects were used to make changes in the ceiling, permutations of boxes and combinations like photo frames and coffee mirror combined with the larger mirrors.
Staircase hall and walls use minimalist lines and rectangular split, material changes, white glass paint and veneer to create levels and texture.

Overview :This project was in Hanshin department store, a very popular department store in Taiwan. I was responsible for this case and worked with manager and vice president.I was in charge those following public space, two seating areas for food court, elevator halls, empty space and lavatories. This space is in the basement and the basement of the old department store building space, making the pipeline complicated. In this space the ceiling utilizes a lot of of mirrored materials using the mirror reflection principle to form a visual extension of the space and making people in the basement feel more at ease and the ceiling height infinitely extended. This mirror ceiling idea was from me and design develiped by vice president.

It features traditional Chinese painting culture, ume, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum signifying four gentlemen. Far back in history, the orchid was often by drawn in traditional Chinese painting, because the Chinese think orchids are fresh and special. Furthermore, the orchid is the most famous flower in Taiwan; Taiwan boasts many kinds of orchid that are unique and beautiful. In fact, Taiwan’s orchids are celebrated around the world. Thus, when we needed to choose one flower on behalf of Taiwan International Airport’s VIP lounge, we selected the orchid and made it the most important feature of this space .

For the main television wall, I used three materials, mirror, sandblasting mirror and titanium board orchid, giving the wall sequence and laser carving an orchid on the top.
In the toilets., I designed a laser carved orchid pattern on the mirror top, with LED lights behind the mirror, making the orchids shine.
This three-floor VIP room is in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, terminal 1. It contains one conference room, one saloon room, sauna room, fitness room, sixteen VIP rooms. I designed the sixteen VIP rooms & lavatories. This VIP lounge belongs to the Ever Rich duty free shop, the biggest duty free shop in Taiwan.P.S. Because the budget, the rooms didn’t used this design, just sticked wallpaper. And the toilets were also simpleness.

Their requirement was that each room had different style, with simple design and the different characteristics of the main them.
Project: House design NO.06My senior year freelance interior design project. Designed my friend’s house in 2009.The project completes by myself.
I put some of the natural elements and materials design in the space, hoping to keep it different from the general house room and give a bit of natural atmosphere. In addition, I incorporated a lot of indirect light, making the space more gentle.
