Authorized LED Reseller: TECH TIPS White Light: White light can be made by using a blue-emitting diode that excites a yellow-emitting phosphor. The combination of blue and yellow makes a white-emitting LED.
Color impact from Internal Drivers: Internal Drivers generate heat, and heat burns the phosphor on diodes turning it into a brownish yellow, thus reducing the “white” light output.

External LED Driver Costs: The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assemblies within External LED Drivers contain approximately $6 of components, while the complete packaged External LED Drivers may range, for certain tubes, from $15 to $20.
Internal LED Driver Costs: Internal Drivers cost less than External Drivers. Manufacturers with Internal Drivers gain margin but create significant disadvantages for end users. The heat from capacitors in Internal Drivers damages the phosphor coating, reducing both color quality and longevity.
