What is a Learning Object?
Learning Objects are self-contained, reusable, and repurposable. A single object can be used in multiple contexts for multiple purposes; multiple learning objects can be grouped into larger collections of content. Learning Objects also contain metadata.
Metadata tagging allows for learning objects to be easily found.
