8Guidelines for leadership

5 useful guidelines for leadership:

•  Leaders and organizations should appreciate the UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES, PREDISPOSITIONS, and TALENTS of each leader—diverse leaders are valuable.

•  Leaders should challenge but not destroy organizational culture.

•  Leaders should be participative and considerate. They should demonstrate a concern for people and enhance the health and well-being of their followers while paying attention to the team’s work tasks.

•  Different leadership situations call for different leadership talents and behaviors. Different individuals may assume the leader role.

•  Good leaders = good followers.
