Vocabulary lesson from comic
Students will write down the words from the comic,not more than three words.
Example: Imagína , y, verás
Verbs
Soy milk
Use as introduction to teach Soy and that in Spanish it means I am.
Then students can make several sentences beginning with Soy.
Discuss there is an implied subject of Yo. Yo can be added before the verb but is not a
necessity.

Write verbs from comic
Teach direct objects
Te odio- I hate you Use this to explain object pronouns come before a conjugated verb. Te is the object pronoun "you".
Random clip art
Can be used for basic vocab
Cat- gato Pajaro-bird Nido-nest Is best to use in threes. Upper level language
classes can write complex sentences with the pictures.
