How do I envision the city of the future?
By Victoria Egorova
Rising World PopulationUrbanization is inevitable. A half of the world population lives in the cities now, and in 2050 this rate will exceed 75%. As for me, it is no wonder in this tendency, as a city is the most convenient and effective mode of human settlement.

Automobiles not only consume large quantities of fuel, but they also are the significant sources of nature pollution. To minimize their detriment effect there will be used mostly the new hydrogen and electrical means of transportation in the city of the future.

Recycling SystemCity residents decrease the amount of waste products. The waste recycling technologies are widely used in the city of the future,
and the number of recycling plants increases.
Water SystemThe Water Management System helps to reduce the amount of water that is used domestically. Smart bathroom utility gadgets help keep track of the water consumption that occurs in the washroom. All the water consumption data is transferred to the interactive mirror via Bluetooth and smart faucet technology. In this way, the user can visualize how much water has been ‘well spent’ and how much has been ‘wasted’. Furthermore, the user interface is simple to use and the consumption details can be viewed through the internet or mobile phone applications.
