LETTER FROM THE OWNER
Dear Prospective Buyer, Judy, our three month old son and I moved into our brand new home at 5120 Lavery court on May 15, 1969. Richmar had built our home (the 264th in Kings Park West and eventually building a total of 1850 homes in KPW) after he had built the homes in Kings Park and many homes in Springfield. We felt com-fortable that the builder knew what he was doing, since he had built so many homes. Our home was to be where we would raise a family (our son, two daughters, a dog and a cat). The children walked to Laurel Ridge Elementary School in the neighborhood. This home is also located in the school district for Robinson High School which is one of the best in the Country. I took the bus to work from the stop in KPW. The federal government transferred me to Charlottesville, Virginia and then we returned back to Lavery Court. Later the government sent me to Hampton, Virginia and again we returned to Lavery Court. Even now our young-est daughter got married and recently moved into KPW just a few blocks away. Now Judy and I are empty nesters and have moved into our retirement home. For all of the 39 years that Judy and I have owned the home at 5120 Lavery Court; I have maintained the home and steadily over the years improved and up-graded it. You can read in the Special Features and see the care we have taken with the home over the years. The screened-in porch is our favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee on Saturday and Sunday mornings, especially during the Spring when all of the flowers are in bloom. I hope that you will enjoy this home as much as my family has and that you too will live long and prosper. Thank you. Dan Barney
