4.These skateboarders performed/ skated so well that those who were watching burst into cheers.5.The meeting centred on the development of Chinese soccer in the coming decade.6.I wonder why my grandparents objected to my taking part in extreme sports in the first place.

Some of my friends borrowed my things ,such as pen, walkman, (and)books,

But they didn’t take care of them. What’s worse, when I told them to take care of them, they were impatient and mad.(even mad at me.),even calling me a penny pincher.

As they are my friends, I don’t want

hurt them or affect our friendship. In my opinion, it is no worthy to lose friends just for such a little thing. However, every time I saw my damaged things, I feel sad and even angry. I face such a dilemma and don’t know how to solve the problem.

I wonder how (what) would you do when you are in my situation. Can you have(give me) some good ideas?

I am a boy student from China,I am 18 and I am an optimistic person. I feel happy all day. But recently,a problem has been troubling me.I have several good friends in my class. I often lend them things ,such as pens ,books, radio, walkman and so on.But some of them don’t take care of them at all.My walkman has been broken twice and most of my

books are messywhen they are returned. I deeply love these things, especially books.Sometimes, when I ask them to take good care of my things, or I don’t lend things to them because I don’t carry these things with me, I can see their unfriendly facial expressions. I am afraid that

they consider me as a penny pincher, which I don’t like to be.I really don’t want to lose my friends over this. But how can I solve this problem?Do you mind giving me some advice. Lihua
