There were 5 freight crime offences targeting parked and attended HGV’s at this site. Offenders cut side curtains and stole household products from one semi-trailer. They cut side curtains
to 4 more semi-trailers but escaped without any goods

Warwickshire Police – Trailer + Load Incident
On Monday 10th July at around 01.20hrs, at a secure transport yard, Watling Street, Dordon, Warwickshire
Offenders used a cloned tractor unit to enter a secure yard and hitch up a loaded semi-trailer full of fuel products
The tractor unit was recovered later in West Midlands area

French Police – HGV Hijacking
Industry contacts have warned us about a recent HGV Hijacking offence: driver was en route to Paris on the A140, Meaux, to the East of Paris. Armed Offenders in a vehicle forced the driver to
stop and hijacked HGV and driver.
Driver was released a few kilometres on but offenders took truck to Mortcerf and transferred cargo onto another HGV. Police
arrived and offenders had a gun battle with officers and escaped from the scene.

Belgian Police – Migrant Attacks
Industry contacts have warned us about a recent attack on parked lorries at a service area on the A14 motorway,
Gentbrugge, East of Ghent, Belgium, on Monday 31st August, in the evening
African immigrants attacked three drivers who got out to defend their HGV’s from entry. The Police were alerted but the migrants
had fled before they arrived

German Police – Driver Robbery
Industry contacts have warned us about a recent attack on a HGV driver at Rest Area: ‘Tecklenburger Land West’ on the A1
Motorway, North of Munster, Germany
At 21.00hrs, driver left his cab and was approached by two males who asked about route directions. One male climbed in to
cabin and other male threatened driver with a knife.
Personal items were stolen from the drivers cabin

Dutch Police – Romanian Rollover Arrests
Dutch Police have arrested 5 Romanian Males and recovered $590,000 worth of iPhones, and a modified Van, used in a
moving HGV Theft on 24th July 2017, that happened on the A73 Highway, at Horst, SE Netherlands, near the German border.
The offenders are part of a larger organised crime group and hopefully more arrests will follow.
