Who is Chet Austin?? So, who is Chet Austin? The academy’s namesake

served as the CEO of Tip Top Poultry. A.L. Burruss, Austin’s longtime friend, served as president of the company from 1954 until his death in 1986. Austin retired in 1999 and established the Al and Chet Education fund in 2005 that has greatly benefitted the Kennesaw State Univ.

Making a Mind Map is Fun!

Just remember these six easy steps.

1. Start in the Center of a blank piece of paper turned sideways (landscape)

2. Quickly sketch an image (no bigger than your fist) of your MAIN TOPIC in the Center

3. Use at least 3 COLORS  in the center and many different COLORS  for emphasis, structure, creativity and fun!

4. Draw some thick, curved connected lines from the picture, one for each of the main ideas you have

5. Name each of these ideas and, if you want, draw a little picture – This uses both sides of your brain. Words are underlined throughout. This is because they are key words and the underlining, as in normal notes, shows their importance.

6. From each of these ideas, you can draw other connected lines, spreading out like the branches of a tree. Add you thoughts on each of these branches (these additional Branches represent the details).

Lions Lion- This personality likes to lead.  The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented.  They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes  be hurt when people do not like them.  Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off.  (They are notorious for messy rooms.)  Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.)  The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
