ELEMENTARY LANGUAGE ARTS PARENT SUPPORT WEBSITE

MAP (or Measures of Academic Progress) is an online test used in

Grades 1-8 MAP allows us to assess where a

student is, and how they’ve grown in achievement, several times each year.

This year all Elementary and Middle schools will participate in MAP.

MAP gives teachers timely feedback on student progress throughout the school

year that they can use to adjust instruction effectively.

PARCC assessments are closely aligned to the Common Core standards. PARCC
