It’s that time of year to begin plan-

ning religious education clas-

ses! This is a perfect opportunity

to share your Catholic faith with

the children and youth of our grow-

ing community. We are in need of

Catechists and Catechist Aides for

our Wednesday and Sunday ses-

sions. Our teacher manuals are

easy to follow and show step by

step instructions on how to plan a

lesson. You do not need an extensive knowledge of The-

ology or Religion, just bring a love for Christ, a love for

our youth and the desire to spread the Good

News. Prayerfully consider sharing your time and tal-

ents, and spread the word, and bring a friend who may

15th Sunday in Ordinary Time St. Paul reminds us in his letter today that we are God’s chosen, adopted

children. We have been blessed by God in being called and in being

given a special share in His life. But this blessing requires that we

accept the responsibility of discipleship. Like Amos, though we may not

understand why God has given us this blessing and task, we will be

given the grace to see it through in faithfulness and trust. How can you

act on your call to discipleship this week?
