CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Want to learn why things fizz, bubble, pop, and boom this summer?!  Explore chemistry, electricity, and sound during this

exciting hands-on science demonstration and activity program!  Demonstrations will include a small (yet safe!)

explosion, hair raising fun with our Van de Graaff generator, participation time with fizzy experiments, and much more!

So many different animal types! You will meet and learn about a member of each of the following

animal types: Bird, Reptile, Amphibian, Mammal, Invertebrate and maybe even a Fish! Interact with the animals with “hands-on” volunteering, bring

your questions and participate in activities. An up-close and personal experience guaranteed.

paint and then make art.

Washington County Public Library Board of Trustees Open Meeting Rules

 The Washington County Public Library Board of Trustees abides by the open meeting laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Open Meetings Act provides members of the public the statutory right to attend all public meetings and to observe and listen to what transpires at those meeting. It does not grant those persons the right to participate in the meeting nor address the members of the Board during the meeting. The Washington County Public Library Board of Trustees will allow one to address the Board with two provisions.•The person must notify the Library Director in advance to be included on the Agenda.•The person must limit their address to two minutes.
