My first year racing 1996 I won thirteen of sixteen features at Kil-Kare Speedway in the beginner stock class . Mainly Because my

family has such a rich history with racing and I was put in a great car that my dad (Jim Lewis Sr) and my papaw (Bill “pappy” Lewis)

built. Won the championship

1997 Shadybowl Speedway feature win

The street stock I drive today is the same car in the picture below built in 1995

Then around 2000 we made the leap to modified and finished second in the points to Dick Dunlevy

Jr.

I was fortunate enough to have success at Shadybowl and Kil-Kare

My family has supported me to the fullest throughout my

racing career and without that I would

be sitting at home doing something less

desirable!!
