Hello All,

Happy New Year to you all. As Ellen Goodman, renown

American journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist

said, “We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by

room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched.

Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the

rooms of our lives….not looking for flaws, but for potential.”

As Republican women, discouraged by 2012’s dismal election

results, we need to “draw up a list of work to be done, not looking for

flaws,” or blame, but to work in concert to fortify our Republican party, promote exceptional candidates

and make our voices heard. We love our country, cherish its values and appreciate the efforts of our

elected representatives and our military.

I’m proud to be your 2013 ARW President. I look forward to working alongside you this year. Our

Executive Board and appointed committeewomen are as excited and eager as I am to continue to make

Arrowhead Republican Women the award-winning Republican club it has always been.

Hello, friends!

Wow! What a GREAT response we’ve had to our Renewal Round-Up! Yee-haw! We’re at 50% return rate which is definitely up from last year! Your ARW membership runs through December 31, so it’s time for EVE-RYONE to get their renewals in BEFORE MARCH 15!

We’re looking forward to drawing TWO names for a $20 luncheon at our January meeting for our Renewal Round-Up! All those that renewed before December 31 will be entered into the drawing. Let’s keep the prize fun going though – we’ll draw for a prize at the February luncheon for those that renew in JANUARY!

New members are critical to the ongoing success of a club. You ladies are AWESOME with recruitment! You always do such a great job sharing the news about ARW with your friends. New friends joining our lunch-eons tend to lead to new memberships. You honestly can’t beat all the benefits of being a Federated woman, between the resources available amongst the club members let alone State and National informa-tion! The contacts, the speakers, the energy and excitement to go out and get the job done whether in your neighborhood while you’re chatting with friends or as a Precinct Committeewoman – you can’t beat it for only $30/year. And don’t forget to get those husbands and our winter visitor friends involved as Associate members for only $10/year!
