JAMAICAN
JERK SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
3 stalks of scallions
3 whole habanero peppers
6 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion
6 cups of water
2 ¼ quarter of ketchup
2 cups dried thyme leaves
4 oz of soy sauce
Thyme to taste
DIRECTIONS
Puree onions, garlic, scallions, peppers and thyme with one of the six cups of water
Add the remaining 5 cups of water in a pot with ketchup and soy sauce
Bring to a boil and continue for 10 – 15 minutes
Simmer for 5- 7 minutes
