Organizer: National Commission of Astronomy (CNA)
Goals:
•To perpetuate the IYA2009 spirit and goals for the future
•To continue some of the main IYA2009 initiatives
Strategy:
•Maximum publicity to all astronomy outreach activities in Spain (web, interactive agenda, media, etc)
•Astronomical traditions (e.g. star parties, measuring the Earth’s radius, 100 Hours of Astronomy)
•Astronomical events (solar eclipses, Perseids, etc)
