1.1 Identify environmental regulations applying to the enterprise

• Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC)

• Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981 • National Environment Protection Measures

(Implementation) Act 1998.

EPBC: Matters of national environmental significance

• World heritage properties • National heritage places • Wetlands of international importance • Nationally threatened species and

ecological communities • Migratory species • Commonwealth marine areas • The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park • Nuclear actions which includes uranium mining • A water resource
