numbers. It is also helpful in computing formulas.
What is a Spreadsheet?
You may have heard the terms "spreadsheet" and "worksheet, which are often used
interchangeably. For the purposes of this class, the term worksheet refers to the row-and-
column matrix sheet on which you work, while the term spreadsheet refers to this type of computer application. In addition, the term
workbook will refer to the book of pages that is the standard Excel spreadsheet document. The workbook can contain worksheets, chart sheets,
or macro modules.
