• Nature blessed us by providing us with herbs, seeds, plants and bark that

provide us with medicinal and therapeutic benefits

• Skin is the largest organ, using nourishing products provides skin hydration,

• Essential oils are believed to have medicinal and psychological benefits

• They have healing and calming properties

• They are potent - that knowledge on how to use them is needed,

• It is the essence of the plant fragrance (its soul)

• They are also volatile, meaning they can evaporate at normal temperatures

Carrier oils

• Essential oils are potent and not recommended to be used directly on skin

• Best way to incorporate essential oils for your skincare is to blend them in carrier oils

• Carrier oils are made from vegetables, nuts and seeds

• They are nourishing in their own right full of fatty acids, vitamins and minerals which are good for your skin

• Knowing your skin type will enable you to know the right type of carrier oil to use as some are heavy and may not be suitable for certain skin types

DIY 2 ingredient nourishing oil

• Different oils work for different skin types and that is due

to the consistency of the oil, their properties.

• I am excited to share a facial oil that has ingredients that can be used for most

skin types

• I have a few essential oils in mind you may choose that suit most skin types –

lavender, frankincense, rosemary and sandalwood

• There are also a few carrier oils that you may use that will replenish and nourish

your skin – rosehip, olive oil, jojoba

• The following recipe will be for a 50ml bottle of product and am so excited to

share this with you

Here are a few examples of facial oils I regularly make but you can

use an oil that suits your skin type.

Rosehip rejuvenation facial oil – 50ml

(suits oily, acne and normal skin)
