• Graphy= • combining form in nouns denoting:• 1 a descriptive science : geography.• 2 a technique of producing images : radiography.• 3 a style or method of writing or drawing : calligraphy.• • writing about (a specified subject) : hagiography.• • a written or printed list : filmography.

• Drawing with Light or for our purposes…working with light and “film”

Styles of Photography

• How is it being made?• Art = express themselves, ideas or concepts of

the artist.• Documentary= About the subject (reportage)

neutral way.• Commercial= wedding, hired, advertising etc.• X= Use in work but not commercial. X-ray,

blood spatter analysis, Scientist etc.
