One brother named Erwin, and 2 sisters, Suzy and Sonya

HOW MANY SIBLINGS DO YOU HAVE?

Her name was Jolan and she was born in Transylvania, Romania.

WHAT WAS YOUR MOTHER’S NAME AND WHERE WAS SHE BORN?

September 25th, 1905

WHEN WAS YOUR MOTHER BORN?

She had 9 siblings, but 4 of them died at young ages.

HOW MANY SIBLINGS DID YOUR MOTHER HAVE?

His name was Jacob, and he was born in Poland.

WHAT WAS YOUR FATHER’S NAME AND WHERE WAS HE

BORN?

June 17th, 1897

WHEN WAS YOUR FATHER BORN?

He had 12 siblings.

HOW MANY SIBLINGS DID YOUR FATHER HAVE?

They lived in Budapest,Hungary when they first met

and continued to live therewith a family.

WHERE DID THEY LIVE WHEN THEY MET AND WHERE DID YOUR FAMILY

LIVE?

They were in an arranged marriage. They met once, and he turned her down at first because she didn’t have enough money, and she couldn’t afford it. In the end, they still got married.

HOW DID YOUR PARENTS MEET?

He worked at and owned a dry goods store

We moved to America in 1939, when I was 5.

My family was trying to escape from the

Holocaust and were lucky to be able to.

WHY?

He sold stockings in New

York to make enough money

WHAT DID YOUR FATHER DO FOR A LIVING AFTER YOU MOVED TO

AMERICA?

At first, we lived in Staton Island, and

then moved to Boston. Eventually, we

moved to Texas because my father found

a better job.

WHERE DID YOU LIVE WHEN YOU GOT TO AMERICA?

They were married for 49 yearsbefore my father died.

HOW LONG WERE YOUR PARENTS MARRIED?
