OBJECTIVES

You will be able to demonstrate the housing selection process with 100 per cent accuracy

You will be able to properly demonstrate how to select a room

You will be able to identify the status of a room if it is vacant, full occupancy, and/or mismatched genders assigned to the room

You will be able to remove a mismatched student from a room and notify the student that they will need to select a different space

Once the room/floor has reached maximum capacity, you will be able to demonstrate how to close that section

ONLINE HOUSING SELECTION STEP 1

How to Login to SpartanWeb

TYPE IN THE FOLLOWING

ADDRESSspartanweb.ut.edu

The page to the right is what you should see.

STEP 2: LOGIN TO SPARTANWEB

Enter your Spartan ID Number into the USER ID box followed by your personal password in the PASSWORD

box.Click LOGIN.

STEP 3: SELECTING THE RESIDENCE LIFE

LINKYou should see the following screen upon logging into SpartanWeb.

STEP 3A: SELECT CAMPUS LIFE

The following screen should appear

HOUSING

The following screen should appear

STEP 4: SELECT OPTION 3: GENERAL

SELECTION

You will then answer a series of questions in order to narrow down the types of rooms that you would like to reside in.

STEP 5: QUESTIONS ABOUT ROOM PREFERENCES

Answer the following questions about what rooms you would like to reside in

Which building do you (and your friend) prefer?

 Which room type (double or triple in a suite, double or triple with its own bath)?

 Which floor? Which side of the building? Facing in which direction?

 Near or away from elevators, stairwells, trash rooms, etc?

 Near friends? Which building did they select? Which suite or room number?

STEP 6: SELECTING YOUR SPECIFIC ROOM

You will then select a room based on availability in this order

Floor

Room

Colors of Availability

RED = Unavailable

GREEN = Open

Silver = Partially filled

Color to be determined based on what the color of the background will be.
