FILE AND FOLDER NAMING As CF Write copies files to the CF card, it does the following:
• Looks for a folder on the CF card called CF_001FDR. If it can’t find this folder, it will create it.
• If the folder is full (has 36 files) it will create a folder called CF-002FDR, etc. up to CF-050, which is the limit for the Barudan Machines.
Then, • CF Write copies files with their file name. Extension of the file will be U01, U02, etc. up to
U36. (Up to 36 files can be stored in one folder) Please note that although you can create and rearrange files in the folders on the CF card, the following rules must be followed for the Barudan embroidery machine to see these files:
• The first letter in a file or folder must be a letter (A-Z) • The rest of the filename can be letters or numbers • Only the first 8 letters will be copied • Only the first 50 folders (alphabetically) can be recognized by the machine. • No nested folders will be recognized • When a file name does not meet the regulation, an error message will be shown on the
main screen and the conversion will not be executed.
