Since the 1981 till 2004 the chair of the psychology was headed by the,

doctor of psychological sciences,professor Vasil

Kupriyanovich Demidenko (the rector of the BSPU since 1966 till 1981).

V.К.Demidenko is the famous Ukrainian psychologist and

pedagogue, the author of more than 200 scientific works and books.)

Thanks to the leadership of Demidenko it was made the accent on

the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the teaching process in the BSPU. There were realized the ranks

of research works oriented on the aspects of the upbringing of the future

specialists.
