The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Zoning By-law Amendment ApplicationZ6/07, Draft Plan of Subdivision Application S-A-2012-01, Draft Planof Condominium Application C-A-2012-04, and Site Plan ApplicationSP16/12, submitted by Esquire Homes, to permit the development of 27,2-storey multiple attached condominium townhouse dwellings.We are offering you, as an assessed person within 120 metres of thesubject property, the opportunity to review and comment on this applicationprior to or during its consideration by the Community Affairs and PlanningCommittee, at a meeting to be held on Monday May 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.in the Town Council Chambers, Ajax Town Hall, 65 Harwood Ave. S. Williamson Drive Bike LaneDesign study

Notice of Public Information Centre #2 - April 30, 2015WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

The Town of Ajax and MMM Group will provide an update on theWilliamson Drive Bike Lane Design Study. Attendees will have theopportunity to review and provide their input on the recommendedpreliminary design, design criteria as well as review a summary ofinput received from residents for this project. Town and MMM staffwill be available to answer questions.

In October 2014, the Town of Ajax retained the MMM Group toassist in the development of design options to accommodatebike facilities on Williamson Drive East and West. The study isconsistent with the Council approved 2010 Walkable + BikeableAjax Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan that recommended onroad bike facilities on Williamson Drive East and West.

The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Site Plan Application SP16/12 submittedby the Rogers Communications Inc, to request Councils concurrence, toerect a 30 metre high monopole (flagpole) telecommunications towerlocated at 1748 Westney Road North. The telecommunication tower is toprovide wireless service coverage in north Ajax where current infrastructurehas been determined to be inadequate to meet consumer demand. Theproposed tower will also include a co-location opportunity to accommodateBell Mobility’s infrastructure.Approval of a site and design of telecommunication towers is under theexclusive jurisdiction of the Government of Canada through IndustryCanada and is not subject to the Planning Act. During this process, themunicipal Council is requested to provide concurrence for the proposedinstallations at the subject sites. If the municipal Council concurs withthe proposal, the proponent can proceed through the remaining IndustryCanada requirements to construct the tower. The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Site Plan Application (SP7/13)submitted by Bell Mobility to permit the development of a 55 mground-mounted telecommunications tower with an associatedequipment shelter on the subject lands.

Proposal

The proposed site is located on Part Lot 1, Range 3, Broken FrontConcession; north of Range Road, west of Lakeridge Road. Theproposed tower would improve wireless coverage and servicewithin the Town of Ajax, in the area bounded by Harwood Avenueto the west, Lake Ridge Road to the east, and Bayly Street tothe north.

We would like to hear from you. Two locations on the propertyare being considered for the tower, and the public is invited toindicate a preferred location.

Bell Mobility will host an Open House Information Session shouldyou have any further questions or comments you would like tomake in person. A Bell Mobility Representative will be at the Townof Ajax Municipal Office in the Council Chambers at 65 HarwoodAve South on May 13, 2015 between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm
